There was so much more he could have said - he felt deep guilt for not mentioning Bobby, or even Henry Winchester, who had saved his brother. At the same time, he knew he had to stick to the bare, basic facts if he wanted to preserve anything of himself.
The hunter knew that day by day, minute by minute, bits and pieces of his memory were slipping away, and though everyone around him was desperately trying to find a cure, Dean for his part thought it hopeless.'
