“I’m your father, Fenna. Stopping you is my job. Keeping you alive is my job. Don’t make me bury my child before I have to.”
The weight of those words hit me like a stone wall.
“I won’t,” I whispered.

“She can still go,” Violet said softly, slipping out of bed and already reaching for the soft linen baby wrap draped over a nearby chair. “As long as you carry her.”
“I was already planning to.” And if one of the guards dared to tell me I spoil my child rotten again, they’d lose another tooth by noon.

Unfortunately OXE cleans house, even a little known warehouse in Scotland. After nearly burning to death she makes her way to New York to exact revenge by using her newly acquired powers - her skin mimics whatever she touches with her hands, along with some diluted super soldier powers. Caught in the act, Val and the team convince her that Project Stealth is her new path and a new Thunderbolt Stealth is born.
