  Summary

  The reception Binx received to the unveiling of their forlorn court to the other fey had been, they thought, unexpectedly good. On the night of the Masquerade Ball, however, things take a sudden turn. An attempt on her life is made, and Rue intercedes in their protection. In the chaos that follows, Captain Hob does something that no goblin has done in millennia.
