Gurney’s eye twitches, “No, I just picked him up at the airport.”
“To bring him here for a...” He draws out the vowel, presses the ice cold beer to his forehead. Duncan’s going to need six of these just to deal with the inherent craziness of finding his boyfriend of five years doing decidedly weird things with his crush of four years.
“A talk.” It’s flat, syllables coming out monotone. Also a tell. Gurney Halleck is nervous.
“Which somehow led to you with half your hand in his mouth?” Paul blushes crimson, sucks a little at Gurney’s fingers and Duncan actually feels all his blood drop south when he registers the sound the boy’s mouth makes. Gurney curls his fingers and a drop of drool escapes, hits Paul’s knee.
He’s going fucking insane. This is hell and he died in the woods. “You have five minutes before I call Leto and tell him I’m going to cash in my vacation days for a month, old man.”
