Summary
They walk in comfortable silence until they reach the cabin clearing. He comes to a stop in front of cabin 6 and turns to face her. “Thank you.” She blurts. He smiles softly. “Any time.” She walks up the steps and is about to turn the handle when he says “I’m here for you, y’know. If you’ll have me.” She turns back to look at him. He stands tall in the moonlight (not quite as tall as Percy, her mind not so helpfully provides) his hands shoved deep in the pockets of his shorts, with the glow of cabin 6’s porchlight lighting up his kind face. She wonders what it would be like. To have someone look after her.
