Summary
Todd has to stay alone and without his Hive in Atlantis over the Christmas holidays while John is not there to make it any easier for him to settle in among the New Lanteans who are still mistrustful towards him.
When he learns by accident that Rodney McKay is feeling as lonely as he himself is feeling, he goes to his quarters one evening to suggest that they keep each other company to feel less lonely.
At first things are pretty awkward between them, but soon they become real friends, even more when Rodney offers him to build a Hive mind on their own, which Todd hadn't expected at all.
When John finally returns to Atlantis and learns about Todd's regular visits in Rodney's quarters, things between the three of them will change forever in a way Todd had never dared to hope that this could actually happen...
