Summary
Sans' life should be great right now. He's got a good job at the royal lab, it pays well. He can afford to keep his little brother happy, and they get to live comfortably. For the first time in his life, Sans finds someone he loves. But things aren't what they should be.
His relationship with Grillby is strained and Sans has to pretend Papyrus isn't the reason for that, while the core project starts a downhill spiral threatening both his work life and home life. The closer the project gets to completion, the farther away Papyrus seems to be and the closer Royal Scientist Gaster gets to becoming unhinged.
