Summary
Steven's a purebred dog of high pedigree that's only ever known a life of luxury.
He's a lapdog more specifically. A pet who's spoiled excessively by their owner, Khonshu. For a dog like Steven who's only used to the best of everything, it doesn't make sense for him to be around other pets that aren't from the same background like him. Especially pets like Marc and Jake, who knows they don't even have the right of breathing the same air as him.
But it doesn't stop them from wanting precious Steven Grant anyways.

Summary
Khonshu's exhausted and frustration, not just with work but back home due to his unruly pets that can never seem to stop fighting each other. He already regrets having them since he can't get them to sit still. Khonshu ends up with the idea of never having another pet, already fed up with the ones he has.
But when he gets an unexpected call about getting another pet, someone that's supposedly better suited for him, he's highly doubtful and doesn't expect much out of his visit to go check.
Though he doesn't expect to fall right then and there for Steven Grant, one of the loveliest little darlings he's ever seen. Khonshu's taken with him, captivated and adores him down to his very bones. And he wants him more than anything.

Summary
A dirty, havoc-wrecking mutt like him probably shouldn't be able to even look at someone like Steven Grant, someone who's unreasonably pampered down to his very bones by their bastard of an owner, Khonshu.
Jake knows this and despises it but keeps his distance anyways despite being so enamored with him to the point where he can't function correctly. It certainly doesn't help that Khonshu and Marc will be gone, leaving only Jake behind to watch over Steven.
As much as he doesn't want to go near the lapdog who's jumbled up his mind, Jake can't help but want Steven anyways, even if it'll do him much more harm than good. Which should be fine. Unlike Steven, Jake's never been a good pet anyways.

Summary
It's supposed to be their vacation. Just a small weekend getaway in the winter for a while with Khonshu, Marc and Jake. Steven couldn't be anymore happier to finally spend the proper time with them.
Until an accident happens which leaves Marc, Jake and Steven stranded out in the freezing cold, all alone in the snow and struggling to keep themselves alive until Khonshu sends in help. And even though they manage to get themselves out, poor Steven ends up getting the worst injuries out of it. But it's fine, he doesn't mind as long as everyone else is safe.
But it can't be said the same for the others. Especially for Jake and Marc, seeing as how their fragile mate had been drastically injured. So, what other intention do they have left in result of the accident? Malice.
