Summary
He blinked to make sure his eyes weren’t simply deceiving him. They were not, as the rift was still there when he opened his eyes. Now that he was sure this was reality, a myriad of questions bubbled up in his mind. Why was it there? Was it always there, or had it just bloomed now that there was only him around to witness it? What could it hold? And, perhaps most importantly, why did it feel like there was an invisible force drawing him to it like a moth to an open flame?
