Summary
Izuku Midoriya has never been very lucky in life. At four he was quirkless and at five he discovered he had a soulmate who was someone else's. But he still wanted to be a hero. And sure, the adults laughed and Kacchan and his friends were constantly teasing him, he could still do it, right? Even without a quirk, or a soulmate.
By the time he's trying to get into U.A. at 15, even though the odds are against him, the last thing he's thinking about is soulmates. But when he sees that Todoroki also wears the typical bandage on his wrist of those who don't want their soulmark to be seen, he wonders if they don't have something in common. Which would be nice since he's started thinking about him maybe a little more than he should...
