Summary
Bakugou is a young golden mongoose hybrid who has known nothing but rules and regulations growing up under his mother's guidance to one day take her place as leader. He is abruptly thrown into the real world when his mother suddenly declares war with the nearby colony, but refuses to tell him why. Bakugou soon discovers exactly what his mother had been planning when he wakes up to his first heat, and the day of the war sets out to find a mate of his own to help him.
But growing up sheltered and protected left Bakugou naive to the ways of other colonies, and he gets a little more than he originally bargained for.
