Last Christmas, Harry and Malfoy definitely did not hook up in the loo, and Harry certainly wouldn't have stolen his friends tea towel to commemorate the occasion. And he hasn't been staring at Malfoy all year, waiting anxiously for this years festivities. Not at all.

Bookmarker's Notes
[Funny story: I tried vodka for the first time today. It was raspberry flavoured, and it tasted like how I imagine rubbing alcohol would taste. Mixing it with Sprite made it slightly better, but I hate carbonated drinks, so I'm not entirely sure it helped. We hung out at the neighbourhood playground. If I had to describe the experience, it would be like taking a NyQuil pill. I wanted a nap... desperately. Hell, even my friend complained because I took forever to drink it; I kept drinking a lot of water. One word: weird.]
Did the above have anything to do with the story? Hell, no. I guess it's funny. When I read this story for the first time, I was a different person. I was in a different school, my friends were different, and I was heavily into K-Pop. (Yes, you heard me correctly). Although it was only a few years, I find it insane how things change. This year has been crazy, and now it's election day. Our lives could change tomorrow. Life can change in an instant, and I guess you just have to roll with it and know that it will be okay.
Knowing this, I'm surprised to say I still enjoyed the hell out of this story even after a few years. The first POV is refreshing. Usually it can be jarring, but this author is a MASTER. I've read her other works, and Olivie always knocks it out of the park, especially with characterization and voice. I haven't been into Draco/Hermione in quite some time, but she writes some really damn cool fics. It's witty, sexy, and utterly brilliant.
You find yourself falling in love with each character and their story. Yes, even the characters you weren't expecting to love, like Percy or Theo. The relationships are intriguing as well. Several relationships don't make sense on paper, but then you read the story and you're like... well, I ship it now. Curse you! Nottpott is the ship we didn't know we needed. I need more. Please.
It's also oddly... reflective? It makes you think of inner-growth and development. Each story is lovingly crafted and rendered so human. Exquisite. Stunning. Highly recommend. Totally fun! Full of colours and highly quotable sentences, haha!

Summary
Draco Malfoy didn't find it difficult to serve Voldemort. He found it impossible. Which is why, upon being ordered to kill Dumbledore, he defected to the side of good and sent his own father to prison. Students on both sides of the conflict have problems with him, and he finds himself beset on all sides by hatred and distrust.
Harry doesn't know how to feel about any of it, but someone's going to have to take Malfoy's side in all this.
