Summary
And then Myka loses track of Helena for a second, less than a second, and the woman is gone. Myka looks around herself – they’re in the Hollywood sector. Myka immediately thinks of all the Wizard of Oz artifacts; wonders which of them Helena might have discovered to make the dreams she dared to dream really come true. Her brain presents her with a map of the sector and the shortest route to check them all. Then Myka hears the shrill whistle of a tea kettle – or Coffee Pot – and starts to run in that direction immediately, map and route forgotten.
She rounds a corner and stops short – Helena is prone on the floor, Coffee Pot rolled out of her ungloved hand, hair spread out around her head like a halo, knees pointing to the right like the fast-forward on a stereo. There’s no ferret in sight but what there is, is a child sitting next to Helena, shaking her shoulder. Myka’s breath stops as surely as her feet did a moment ago.
The child looks over her shoulder, eyes frantic, and says, “Mummy will not wake up,” and Myka regains control of her diaphragm and her legs and moves towards the girl at a pace somewhere between a rush and an ‘I don’t want to startle you’ approach.

So 2020 has been a shit-show - not just because of the pandemic, but that played a massive part. Here's a little exploration of what Bering and Wells might look like in present times, without the Warehouse but with burdens of their own to carry. Just a little thing that I thought of yesterday and wrote today; bear with me if it seems hurried.
As I wrote over on my other fic, here's to the end of 2020. Thank you for supporting my writing habits throughout the year; I wouldn't have made it through without Bering and Wells, and without all the wonderful feedback from y'all. This OTP is truly my happy place, and you all are a big part of that. Whatever you have done to make it this far, give yourself some credit, and take it with you into 2021 - we're not done yet with all the BS. This is a marathon, and we're nowhere near the finish line. But! That also means that I will go on writing. Because this is my way of coping, and if I can bring you a bit of joy with that, it makes my day. Happy New Year, everybody. Stay safe and healthy, and be your best wonderful selves as much as you can. Much love to all of you!

Summary
Kathryn Janeway finds herself on 21st century Earth, and in the middle of a group of 'girls' that refuse to see her as anything but Kathryn (rather than Captain Janeway, for example). One of them, irritatingly irreverent Marie, starts digging and knocking and poking, and somehow, that isn't as bad a thing as Kathryn used to think. Q's veiled hints don't really help, though.
And then, Kathryn finds Marie on Voyager, and things are mightily shaken on the good ship and for her stalwart captain.

Summary
Myka rolled her eyes at him – but she couldn’t be mad at him for long. Steve was way too good a friend to begrudge a bit of teasing. “Shut up,” she said, but her heart wasn’t in it.
“You did save the damsel in distress. And her baby.”
“Shut up,” Myka repeated, this time with a bit more oomph behind it.
“There are worse meet-cutes, you know. Wait till Claudia hears of this; she’ll heart-eye all over it.”
“Shut up!” Myka laughed.

Summary
This is based on a Tumblr prompt and ensuing tag fic. The post can be found here.
"On your quest for revenge, people often said to you, “Killing him wouldn’t bring her back.” The thing is, you found a way to resurrect her perfectly. You just need a soul to sacrifice, so might as well get the one who killed your loved one."

Honestly I love the "I didn't know where else to go" trope, and this morning I had an undeniable inspiration - I've teased vampire!Helena before, but this is a different vampire!Helena. Then again, can there ever be enough vampire!Helenas? No there can't, so here we go.
Please heed the content warnings and rating; this is far far more hurt (and gore) than it is comfort, even if it has a happy ending of sorts.
