Summary
Derek's Alpha status won't let him stay with the Hale Pack anymore, not when he had to contend with Laura's natural right to lead the Hales when his mom gives up the mantle. So he takes his Beta's and goes to a werewolf convention to try and find new members. He doesn't expect Stiles Stilinski to be there, looking for an Alpha for his band of renegades. Or for Stiles to be his mate.
