----------------------Hi! First ever fanfic on here but I'm not new to this site, mostly an avid fanfic reader on here.
Personally, we need more DMC boys x ftm! reader content, I say this as a trans masc person myself who will try to read GN readers but most of the time it's just not enough to be honest. This is ongoing!

Summary
Ronan was the natural product of a month like November. It was the sudden shift of something comfortable into something dangerous; it tapped Ronan on the shoulder like it would punch him when he turned around to look. In his interactions with others, Ronan tended to take a similar tactic.
For the nineteenth time, Ronan’s birthday waited at the beginning of November like a razor blade in an apple.
The first cut it made was this: 8:15 am mass at St. Agnes Church.
After mass, Ronan ducked out the door and into his car and did not, did not look to the tiny, slanting attic apartment where Adam Parrish had lived.

Just a quick little thing that picks up right after the Opal short story. Like, right after.
Ronan dreams, Adam worries, but things are okay. -

Summary
“Sorry, Parrish,” he rasped.
“Stop fucking calling me that! I'm Adam. I'm Adam to you when things matter. When you’re telling the goddamn truth. Whatever this is… whatever you think you’re doing… it’s bullshit. Utter fucking bullshit and until you figure it out and just… just stop it…” His voice broke on that last bit and he put a hand over his mouth and turned away. It was a good thing because Ronan’s heart had shattered into a million shards on the bricks between them and Ronan knew deep in his gut there would be no way to ever make it whole again.
Or: Ronan receives an alarming call from Mr. Gray and makes some tough decisions to keep his friends safe.

Summary
Breaking things was standard Ronan-fare, but timing it around Adam's coming home was a coin-flip between good and grief.
(It's spring break, and Adam comes back.)

Summary
It felt irresponsible to leave.
He had willed the thought away, and breathed in the sleep-sweat of Ronan’s neck instead. He thought about the scratch of Ronan’s jaw, and the soft fury of his mouth. He thought about how far into the drive his first exit would be. He thought about Opal, who had hidden herself in the enthusiastic buttonbush that grew alongside the house; she had taken to crouching there whenever it looked like Adam and Ronan were doing things related to Leaving, and had gnawed an entire branch clean. She watched them as they swayed and whispered, and Adam had thought she would stay in the bush and not come see him at all, but he was wrong: at the last minute she had been unable to stand it, and had burst out to wrap herself around his legs.
It was impossible to leave them.
He had gotten in the car.
Adam leaves for college, and realizes he has no idea what comes next.

Summary
"Ronan folded his arms over his chest. A little streak of combativeness still ran through his veins, wild and angry, but his voice betrayed it and trembled. It’s like you want it, Adam had said. It’s like some part of you always wants it."
After a brush with the dangers of dreaming, Adam and Ronan come to an understanding.
