Summary
Steve was no longer sure this was a good idea. It had seemed like one when he’d proposed it; Diana would not stop talking about Ares, and while Steve was prepared to admit that there were stranger things in the world than he’d previously dreamt of in his philosophies, he’d thought it would be good for Diana to see some of the realities of the war before taking her to the front. Flanders was not a place for naive daydreams, only escapist ones.
