Summary
As an A-list actor who has recently dealt with several intensely challenging personal circumstances that have affected his opportunities and the public’s opinion of him, Shiro tries not to even think the word ‘comeback’, but this is his first leading role in a while. The film is big-budget, high-concept sci-fi, and has ‘summer blockbuster’ written all over it. It’s kind of nostalgic, since this kind of thing was Shiro’s first big break, more than a decade ago. Except that was all spaceships, which meant a lot of sets, and this involves a lot of being marooned on a hostile planet, so Shiro is on location for the first time in years, out in the Montana Badlands. He actually has a trailer, it’s crazy.
Right now, Shiro is very glad of the trailer, finally free of his costume for the day. It may have coolant tubes in it, but there’s only so much it can do. It would have been so much worse without Curtis, the Best Assistant Production Coordinator In The World, fanning him and fetching water when that’s not even his job. The man is a saint, and as beautiful as all those suspiciously homoerotic Renaissance paintings thereof.
