Summary
Beatrice Prince trained her whole life to be a soldier. That was how life on The Continent worked: you either join the Barracks, or go to University. But after graduation, Beatrice was drafted into a secret assignment known only by the Grand Masters of The Table.
Using her enhanced skills given to her by an injection of rabbit DNA, she must lead her Squadron to defeat Inkbeasts, the extinct animals who have returned to reclaim the earth.
But she begins to question who the real enemy is, and if she's OK with being a pawn in someone else's game.
