Summary
There had been another man they’d found living out of a gas station when they were still figuring out what the hell to do while stranded in Ohio. He’d only given them the name Blade, which was definitely not his real name considering his skill with his assorted weaponry. They’d stuck together for around a month and a half, raiding all the other rotting places nearby, but his cryptic nature clashed too strongly with the entire system, so they’d parted ways.
Frequently, Steven wonders if Blade is still out there somewhere. By now, he’d have to be going pretty far out to find any more food, or maybe he’s moved bases all together. He likes that image a lot more than the image of a rotting corpse storming at a survivor with a sword outstretched.
