Summary
Eren wouldn't consider himself a bad student, not particularly. The only thing that really got him in trouble was his behaviour in class. And for some reason, specifically with his English teacher, Eren was basically the only one being scolded for bad behaviour, as if the man singled him out in particular, as if he kept an eye on just him at all times.
(Or, if Eren was being honest, he liked how quickly the man got angry.)
