Summary
When Annie was a kid, she thought that the only way she could ever get into drug use would be at a loud, crowded party, with chanting from her friends, ushering her to "take a hit!" And she would battle with them, "no, I've never done anything like this before" and they'd call her a pussy or something to egg her on - like in those PSAs.
Ironically, not having friends was one of the biggest factors to drive her into it.
Annie has friends now. A whole group of friends that would support and love her through anything.
So why is she skidding head-first into addiction again?
