Summary
Izuku has never had a good track record with teachers. But this is UA, right? He has to at least try for Todoroki.
Todoroki, who is hurting and so, so quiet. Who slips away a little too easy into the background for someone who should be larger than life.
Todoroki, who Izuku sees pieces of himself in. Who tells him about his father and reminds Izuku of the way he used to hide at school, how broom closets became safe spaces because the quiet was better than the pain.
No one ever listens. No one. Izuku prays, for Todoroki’s sake, that UA is different.
