Tighnari is spying Kaveh in the bushes, looking at what he is doing in the middle of the forest and what he sees, shocks him to the core.
Kaveh takes a palm size leaf and heats up on top of the fire, not too near and not too far as what he needs is just softening the leaf. After he checks the leaf's softness a few times, he begin to nibbles it. Little by little until it's gone from his hands, and he begin to do it again with the next leaf. He raise up his mug and drink between the 'meal'. Mehrak floating by his side is just beebing in concern but his owner pretends like he didn't hear a thing.
This is what Kaveh been doing all this time? Not a project, but eating leaves?

Alhaitham was going out back to the desert to study the ancient runes to understand the meanings of the hidden truth. However, Kaveh, worried for his husband not wanting to lose his husband the same way he lost his father, Kaveh tagged along with his “roommate” to explore a new rune. However, the two got into an argument in the unstable rune. Kaveh made a grave mistake causing his beloved to be trapped and injured from the mistake he made. It’s up to Kaveh to now save his husband Alhaitham before it’s too late.

Summary
Indefinitely, it was his only outlet to finally let go of his love for him, to maybe move on. Kaveh wrote these for years detailing to his heart’s content, all the moments they enjoyed together, the little things he’d notice in him, all the pain he anticipated to come, and his overwhelming desire to love and spend the rest of his life with him. There was so much he covered, none of which he believed could fit on a single piece of paper. He deserved books.
“H-how many?” It wasn’t a question, more of a demand.
“I read them all.”
