Summary
All of the dwarves survive the Battle of the Five Armies and Bilbo comes back to the Lonely Mountain with a recently orphaned Frodo one year later. He and Thorin eventually marry, Bilbo becomes Consort Under the Mountain, and the Kingdom of Erebor slowly returns to its former glory under their leadership. Meanwhile, they've also got three nephews to contend with and a Company of dwarves who can't seem to keep their noses out of everybody else's business. Political intrigue, royal headaches, cabbage patches, and hilarity ensues...

He was pale, paler than Tía Pepa, the Madrigal with the fairest skin, and had dark circles under his eyes. He clearly wasn’t of the same ethnicity as them, but he had refined features, high cheekbones which gave him a haughty look and very particular grey eyes. If he wasn’t so sick-looking and obviously starved, Mirabel could see that he was a very handsome man, even more handsome than Mariano Guzman, Isabela’s almost fiancé and the town’s heartthrob.
His dishevelled appearance, though now mitigated by her father’s clothes and his combed hair, would have made him perfect for a villain in a story if he hadn’t such a curious glint in his haunted eyes and a kind smile as he waved at them in greeting.
“Here, Señor,” said Mirabel’s father Agustín, gesturing towards all of them, “This is our family. Everyone, this is Señor – er – I’m sorry, we haven’t even asked your name…”

Summary
Soft, meek, fussy, and scared of their own shadows—those were words that people often used to describe hobbits. Even after riddling with Smaug the Golden and saving the King Under the Mountain's life, dwarves, elves, and men alike still underestimate Bilbo Baggins' capabilities outside the kitchen or a negotiation hall. And Bilbo would agree to a certain extent; he doesn't like violence, not in the slightest.
However, if someone threatens his nephews in any way? Well, then he'll track the bastards down and destroy them.
