Ninth fell asleep in a safe house and woke up in his middle school uniform.
Toshinori slept and woke with the distinct sensation that One For All was no longer his.
Izuku goes back in time, back to his middle school days, which is already strange, but the fact that One For All came back with him is even stranger… and it means he has to learn to safely navigate the quirks in a body that’s not quite ready for them yet. Well, at least the vestiges are helping him out!
Since he’s got a chance to do things over, he might as well take advantage of it. And this time, the vestiges are going to be sure he doesn’t go at it alone.

Summary
“Sonic the Hedgehog is dead,” come the surreal words of a stranger. Tails closes his eyes against the mist in his mind as it leaks through and dribbles down his muzzle. “There is no point in remaining here.”
He doesn’t move. He isn’t sure he could even if he wanted to. Dizzying fear roots him in place just as firmly as the steadfast, undying loyalty to his fallen friend. This isn’t real, he finds himself thinking yet again as the footsteps start anew. None of this is real… He can’t be- The slack, rapidly cooling form in his arms sends shivers up his spine and turns his own body cold and numb.
He can’t be gone.

Huh. Kidnapped. That’s new. If he was less emotionally dead from finals and sleep deprivation, he’d probably have a stronger and much more appropriate reaction to that.
At least he's got Captain America and the Winter Soldier to keep him company.

Summary
Jax used to have a tail. It's not the only thing he's lost.
The question becomes what else he is missing. Rather, what isn’t he missing? With his dashing good looks and inspired personality accounted for, he seems to be entirely whole. He looks to the others to try and find something off-kilter in them that might inform his self-perception: a misplaced ear, perhaps, or an absent look. It’s hardly any use. Kinger lost his marbles long ago; Pomni is still finding her footing; Gangle can’t keep a hold of her masks; and Ragatha is more concerned with the wholeness of others. The only one who might be of some use is Zooble. They’re always misplacing parts of themself, swapping features out and disregarding what doesn’t fit. They would know about missing pieces better than anyone.

This shouldn’t have happened.
This never should’ve happened. Noelle shouldn’t have been forced to kill an entire city’s worth of Darkners. She shouldn’t have been forced to cast a spell that froze Berdly solid into a thick crystal of ice. Berdly shouldn’t be lying here lifelessly.
They can do something about at least one of these things. They need to get him to the hospital.

In the aftermath of Snowgrave, Kris rips out the SOUL lodged inside them and leaves through the window to try and fix at least some things. This includes shambling across the town to get Berdly, still-unconscious in the computer lab, somewhere safe.
Kris's terrible awful no-good very bad night; set in Chapter 2 but written with the insight obtained in Chapter 4 of Kris being the one to bring Berdly to the hospital.

Barely two chapters in, and it's already a personal favorite of mine. 😊
A very compelling narrative that dives into some of the complexities of abuse. After all, neither Starscream or Megatron are exactly... the nicest bots around, so it's difficult to know how to place the blame.
... I so desperately want Starscream to have a win. At least he's got some support from his trine.
