Summary
The Absolute’s infection should’ve stripped him of all higher functions beyond that of his enthrallment. No manner of injury or exhaustion should keep him from attacking her. Yet, here he was, touching his face with a confused look that seemed all too human for Uzi’s taste. Vampires especially craved the look of what they once were, even if they no longer saw humans as anything more than cattle to feed on.
“Can you…can you see me?” Uzi asked tentatively, still breathing hard from the fight.
“I can see you…?” the vampire responded in loose lucidity.
“Holy shit it talks,” Uzi deadpanned incredulously. “You have to be fucking kidding me.”
“Sorry,” he slurred, his eyes closing again sleepily, “You’re bleeding.”
Holy shit, again.
. . .
Uzi had been doing well enough on her own for years now. She'd learned through heartache and betrayal that nothing good had come from her vulnerability. She didn’t need anyone, but when she comes crashing home with a vampire in tow, Uzi is forced to come to terms with the fact that sometimes…she needs help too.
Besides, if he were easy to kill, she’d have done it already, but something in him refuses to die, and for that they are alike.

Summary
“I know why I hate everyone here,” William began with a deep breath, “It’s because they don’t know me. I haven’t got a reputation, Henry. I had one in Brighton, and I had one in Albany, and I have one in Florissant, but I haven’t got a reputation here.”
“...”
“They were enamored by who I was, Henry.”
“...okay.”
“I want my name back.” William spoke in a hush, and Henry couldn’t help but feel sympathetic. This was no place to gain a name.or
William Afton and Henry Emily meet in a hot college in a dying town. Life happens.
-ˋˏ 🎸 ˎˊ-
I know that this is like the 20th William and Henry college-centric backstory "fill-in-the-blank" fic that's been uploaded to this website in the past 6 months but you know what? I love all of them, and I just HAD to throw my hat in the ring. Please heed the tags, and know that even though this is currently tagged as William/Henry, the first tag is William & Henry, because their friendship is going to be showcased more than their underlying romance. I'm not saying that I'm not going to get heavy with the romantic aspects of their relationship, but don't be disappointed when some chapters go by without any mentions of it.

Summary
On the exterior, William Afton appeared to be a valuable member of his small town’s community. He was outgoing and entrepreneurial enough to make most people forget he hadn’t always been there; a bit of a flirt in a way that most found charming; the owner of a successful robotics company that had breathed life into the local economy. He was a family man, a devoted single father to his two year old son Michael after the sudden disappearance of his wife.
After speaking with the man for the last month, local reporter Henry Emily knew that he was all of those things. However, he also wholeheartedly believed that William was a serial killer.
