Summary
So the thing about Prof. Anaxa is that he really doesn't like treating his students like babies. The problem with that, though, is the fact that Professor Anaxa also tends to assume that his students are actually functional outside of the classroom.
It's one thing to assume that about Hyacine; she's actually responsible. Now Phainon, on the other hand, doesn't even trust himself with fragile potion bottles on a good day. His half-asleep ass at seven in the morning?
Hm. Yeah. So. He might have a teensy problem now; that problem being the fact that he now has a tail, horns, and a distinct lack of human vocal chords and opposable thumbs.

Summary
Mydei opens his eyes. He doesn't want to, not really — unless it's a fight, he's sure that Aglaea has the capability to handle things herself — and blearily looks towards two heads of snow white.
Two.
Two?
Mydei blinks, focusing his gaze on the shorter boy who stands by Phainon's side. The same white hair and blue eyes stare back at him, though this one is coloured fabrics that should be considered an abomination to humankind, and comes up to Phainon's waist.
If his eyes are not deceiving him, he'd think that he's looking at a younger version of Phainon.
A mishap at Oronyx's temple causes Phainon to attain a younger version of himself. Mydei's maternal instincts kick in.

Phainon looks down, staring at his hands in the water. Mydei's right, of course, but how is he supposed to explain that he's afraid? Afraid of asking for too much, afraid of everything he could stand to lose if he tries to take more than he should—more than he feels he deserves.
"Mydeimos," he starts carefully, still unable to meet Mydei's eyes. "Do you want me to kiss you?"
Phainon wants, but never takes. Mydei wants to know why.
