Summary
I pulled on my robe, the fabric soft against my skin as I padded out of the bedroom. The house was still, the only sounds the distant crowing of the rooster and the occasional creak of the floorboards. I made my way to the kitchen, the aroma of brewing coffee filling the air. As I poured myself a cup, I couldn't help but think of William, the little boy who had been thrust into our lives so unexpectedly, and his mother. The woman that treated me so harshly when she was dating Donovan, the woman that tried to get him to leave the farm and his own sister behind. And now, the woman that hid his presumably own child from him. Yet she promised not to cause any trouble, but trouble was practically the only thing running through her veins.

The two women become friends and Shanee Lavene, her newfound friend plays matchmaker with her old time friend Gavin Lorio. Thinking that Zorell is working much too hard she asks Gavin the take her out and show her a good time.

This is a slightly different take on the X-Men Evolution episode Rogue Recruit. Something I wrote a while back. This story has around 25 chapters, and rewrite of season 1. Two more books are in the works. It asks the question, "What if Rogue never joined the X-Men?" So this story is all twisted around from the original cartoon, many shocking surprises and a few original characters in the mix.

Summary
Bailey McHolland is back. Her father Randy McHolland also known as Mouch works for The CFD at fire house 51. The whole squad is going to be honored at this year's Fire Department Gala and Mouch's chief called Bailey and suggested she come in for the gala and see her father be rewarded along with the whole squad. Bailey was unsure if she would even be wanted or welcomed back. What Bailey doesn't know is he old crush fellow firefighter of her father's Kelly Severide was still working at Firehouse 51, she also didn't plan on feelings coming back up to the surface.
