Summary
Years ago, Veronica Sawyer and Jason "JD" Dean were arrested for the deaths of Heather Chandler, Ram Sweeney, and Kurt Kelly. Veronica got off with only a short time in prison and has cleaned up her life since then. She's now a decently well known journalist and author, as well as engaged to a charming man.
A dark part of her still wonders about JD though. When he's released after 14 years in prison, and he doesn't show up at her door, she decides to find him instead. What will happen when the two reunite after all of these years?

Summary
Adam sighed, and buried his face in Lawrence’s neck, greedily inhaling the last faint traces of his cologne. The scrape of his chapped lips against his throat must have stirred him, because his arms relaxed around him from the needy, subconscious clutch of a sleeping man to the gentle embrace Adam was used to from him by now. His fingers wove into Adam’s hair, petting him, and he yawned before opening his eyes.
“Morning, sweetheart,” Lawrence mumbled, his smile audible even as Adam kept his face stubbornly hidden from him, and the sharp ache of self-loathing stung at Adam like sand.
“Morning.” Even his own voice sounded foreign and flat.
Lawrence guided his face up for a tender kiss, cradling his cheek with one broad hand, and Adam could feel the treacherous sting of tears in his eyes as their lips met softly.
God, he was so good to him. Adam didn’t deserve any of it.
