He put the card down and fidgeted a little as he waited for the knights to begin questioning him. It was clearly a blatant lie. Even a blind man could have seen how much Lancelot had adored Gwen, and the knights certainly weren’t blind.
But it didn’t matter: blatant lies were his forte. ‘What, a sorcerer? Me?’
He fidgeted some more, and deliberately didn’t meet the knights’ eyes.
…
If this story was true, he'd be starting to get aggressive to hide his discomfort right about now. He rolled his eyes and snapped, “We fucked, Gwaine.”
Gwaine looked startled at the amount of anger that had been directed at him, and the other knights looked vaguely awkward.
“Whoa, sorry. I didn’t realise…”
“What, that I didn’t want to talk about it?” Merlin laughed sarcastically, spitting out the words. “I’ve only had half a decade to bring it up! If I wanted to ‘talk about it’, don’t you think I would have mentioned it before now?”

Under the stairs at the moment, though not for long. She's about to receive a letter that will make things a whole lot worse before they get better.
***“I am not in the habit of returning house points once they have been lost, Miss Potter. Among us little people at least, choices have consequences. If that’s all —”
“It’s not that, sir,” she hastened to explain, surprising him once more. Most students were only too eager to latch onto anything that resembled a dismissal from his presence, and no one — ever — interrupted him. “I-I understand. I just… I live with my aunt and uncle, you see. They’re muggles.”
Snape didn’t answer, but the girl plowed doggedly on.
“Well, th-there was an a-accident at the end of the summer, sir. S-some of my potions ingredients spilled in my trunk, and I didn’t know w-what to do... M-my relatives thought I might get help at school?”
She swallowed hard, then reached into her bag and pulled out a horror of a textbook. The entire mold-stained cover slid off as she moved to set it on his desk, and a handful of ragged pages scattered as the book block landed on his desk with a damp thud.

Gaius ushers them in. “I was just gathering my things to come check in on you. How are you feeling?”
“Uh, headache. Deeply wrong.” And then Merlin adds offhandedly, “Oh, and like I’ve switched bodies with the Crown Prince of Camelot.”
Or: Merlin and Arthur accidentally swap bodies. This would be a great opportunity for Merlin to relish in making Arthur muck out the stables, if the prat hadn't also gotten Merlin's magic in the exchange.
