Unfortunately, that’s not something Todoroki is capable of when it comes to Hanta. Of course he’s not going to ignore the Valentine’s Day confession he got. He just needs to figure out exactly what he is going to do, if not ignore it. Lucky for him White Day is just around the corner and he is determined to do this right. For Hanta, like most things he does.
TL:DR Sero confesses with a Valentine he thinks Todoroki won’t even see. Todoroki sees and plots. And makes lots of chocolate- like an enormous amount.

Summary
Hanta is in England with the Brazilian equestrian team, getting ready to ride in his first Olympic level qualifier. The jumps are bigger and broader, and competition is fierce, and he and Ticker Tape should be focusing on the task ahead.
But focusing is hard when Hanta’s long time friend and low-key crush – who also happens to be equestrian royalty – shows up in the shape of one Shoto Todoroki. He and Hanta haven’t seen each other in person for nearly three years, and watching videos of Shoto and his horses performing does not do the man in front of Hanta any justice. Three years difference looks good on Shoto, even if he still hasn’t got any fashion sense.
Hanta was always determined to do his best, but having Shoto’s eyes on him now is like having fire and ice in his veins. Shoto being there means the competition just became a lot harder because only one person can win the trophy after all. But the more time Hanta spends with his old friend, the less he thinks of first place as being the prize he actually wants to win.Or: the seroroki equestrian AU that no one asked for but that I absolutely needed to write
