Nick Nelson is doing so much better. He's got a good job as the Head Carpenter at Habitat for Humanity in Philadelphia, has good friends, and has navigated his way through a rough couple of years only to emerge a stronger, more self-assured, and passionate version of himself. But then he gets a message from Charlie Spring. Yeah, that Charlie Spring. His former best friend. The first person he ever loved. The person he drunkenly confessed his feelings to in a move so chaotic that Charlie hasn't spoken to him since. Can this new and improved version of Nick find a way to be friends with Charlie again without getting his heart broken for a second time?
