Obi-Wan finds cannabis in Qui-Gon’s quarters.
The plant is entirely unfamiliar to him at first, but it doesn’t take long to look it up in one of Qui-Gon’s old flimsiplast books, reading the entry with mild interest. Obi-Wan’s interest is immediately raised upon reading about the spiritual and focusing properties of the herb, however, and when he finds that they are commonly baked into treats, he decides to do just so as a gift for him and his master.

Summary
Mortally wounded protecting a youngling bright in the Force, a dying Qui-Gon Jinn asks his padawan to take the boy to the Jedi Temple and train him.
Though this is his old master's last wish and though he promises to see it through, young Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker cannot bring himself to train the boy he blames for his master's death. Instead, he gives Obi-Wan Kenobi to the Jedi Council and embarks upon an undercover mission that pulls him to the Outer Rim where he can lick his wounds in peace and wait for his anger and grief to burn itself out. Ten years later, he returns to Coruscant only to find that Obi-Wan Kenobi has had the gall to leave the Jedi Order and his padawanship to become a Senator's Aide, as if it weren't Qui-Gon Jinn's wish for him to be a Jedi.
This cannot stand. Anakin will not allow it to, even if it means that he must train the boy himself, all these years later.
Even if the boy wants nothing to do with him.

Summary
Obi-Wan returns from Melida/Daan with more than just memories, though he is not aware of this before it is too late. Qui-Gon tries to help his Padawan understand his loss and the circumstances surrounding it. This is my first Star Wars fic and certainly my first mpreg fic. Please Enjoy! Edited 09/27/2020

That's why Obi-Wan would always make sure to be there for him so he would realize that he was a better option.
After all, who else knows Anakin Skywalker if not Obi-Wan himself?
