Summary
In a futuristic cyberpunk society, the women of the world are often undervalued and seen as objects rather than the great minds they truly are; especially within the working fields. Jobs are few and far between for them, and most women are forced to stay at home and care for the elderly, spouses, and children- even if they are more qualified than their spouses. For this reason, arranged marriages are quite common, and it seems almost as if society as a whole has gone back in time, not forward. The inequality is truly rampant!
Enter Andy, a bright young mind with a spirit to match. Working in the digital design and marketing force, she truly is a spitfire when it comes to all things independence. She's got that good 'ole "I don't need no man" mindset. However, when an arranged marriage threatens her glorious independence, she must get up close and personal with one of the nastiest faces within her city's high class. With the help of her family, and a few surprising friends found along the way, will she be able to break free of this unwanted bond? Or will she be forced to submit to her son-to-be husband?
