Summary
Izuna finally escapes the part of the Backyard where he had been trapped by the Sanctus Maximus, and good thing she was already contained prior to his escape so he doesn't have to worry about that. But he has a bit to catch up on, luckily he's able to make some new friends to get him up to speed and to enjoy time with.
Leo Whitefang on the other hand didn't expect a Yokai to suddenly make an apperance into his life and decide that maybe he is interesting enough to spend time with compared to others such as Ky Kiske, it's a welcome surprise to say the least.
Takes place in the same universe as my Striving For The Future series but no current or future entries will be required reading for this fic and vice versa.

It's a Papa Louie chatfic because I don't think there is one yet! This takes place right at the beginning of Freezeria in honor of the Deluxe edition releasing! Hello, all four people who will read this. I hope your day has been good.
In the past, I have exclusively written wlw romance, but I wanted to try something outside of my comfort zone and try my hand at some more emotionally charged writing. This is my longest work ever, my first post over 1500 words, and I put a lot of work in to this.
I brought myself to tears as I was writing this, and I can only hope that it will bring you the same emotions.
I hope you enjoy, and please tell me what you want to see next. Given a strong enough concept, I would be willing to write for just about any major fighting game franchise.
