    They sit in aching silence for a moment as Kurt processes this. “I love you, you know that? But I don’t want you doing anything like that for me.”
    Alarm flashes in her sky blue eyes. “I-I wouldn’t! …Probably.”
    “Rose…”
    “I love you too,” she says, in lieu of acknowledging that.

    For now, that’ll do. Kurt’s not in the mood to argue. She just wants peace. Just a moment of peace with her sweet Rose.

    “Princess Kurt,” Rose speaks softly.
    She shudders at the unfamiliar title, almost laughing at how pathetic it was that hearing it gives her such a thrill.
