Summary
Friends invite Gi-hun to their get-together party and encourage him to bring his partner with him. Gi-hun panics and promises to come with his boyfriend. Needless to say, he doesn't have one. He's sure he'll end up suffering the torture of “how do I explain to everyone that my boyfriend is just really busy at work and can't come if there really is no boyfriend at all and I obviously look stupid trying to pretend there is” at dinner, however, when he arrives he finds out that he does, in fact, have a boyfriend. Well, maybe it's only the second time he sees this man, but who counts?
Or: Gi-hun accidentally tells a stranger at a bar that he lied to his friends about the existence of his boyfriend. In-ho can't resist taking this chance to get close to the man who won his attention at first sight. Everything goes according to plan.

Summary
Gi-hun runs a small tavern outside the city, enjoying his happy but lonely life. One late evening he goes out to feed a stray cat that often comes by, but suddenly finds a man on his doorstep who looks as if he has just returned from hell. Barely able to stand on his feet, bloodstained, wounded, without money or any belongings, Gi-hun lets him in anyway, unable to leave the man in distress. Who could have known that this mysterious stranger was not just a simple victim of unpleasant circumstances?
