Summary
It's the night of the Yule Ball and Harry feels out of place amongst the glitz and performance of it all. His date, Parvati, is sweet, but Harry can't keep his eyes off of Draco -- who's wearing elegant black dress robes and a smirk like he owns the place.
When the clock strikes midnight and Harry can't stand the moving bodies, the couples whispering sweet nothings, the arguing friends and dates, and the glares from people who would go back to wearing their "Potter Stinks" badges the next morning, he slips away, hoping for some peace and quiet and fresh air.
In a lone hall he bumps into none other than Draco, who's clearly had more than a few shots of firewhiskey, a sly smile, and a challenge in his eyes. He challenges Harry to dance -- and that's an offer Harry can't seem to refuse, despite their tensions and animosity.

Summary
When Obi-Wan dies by Anakin's hand, he expects that to be the end.
