It’s times like these that Derek was glad he went away for college, well, for another degree anyway. He’d gotten his double degree Bachelor’s in Classics and in Medieval Studies from University of Southern California, so he couldn’t pass up an opportunity to indulge himself with an Art and Art History degree for just making prints from lithography stones and etched copper plates, a hobby he'd picked up his first time around. In late September, Derek gets a friend suggestion on Facebook and sends the request, not because he knows Stiles, but because he’s one of the finest men he’s ever laid eyes on and they go to the same school. Plus, once Stiles accepts the request almost immediately, Derek’s sure he’s bound to see him eventually.
And he does, three months later, while he's ass up in a downward facing dog at the gym.

It’s not that Stiles doesn’t love Mondays or Saturdays cause he loves those days too but Thursdays are the days where Stiles gets to show and tell Derek what he means to him, shower him in love and affection because Derek needs to believe him when he tells him he loves him and this is how Stiles does that.
Or
Derek and Stiles are in a Dom/sub relationship and as part of Derek's recovery they do gentle BDSM on Thursdays so Stiles can show Derek what he means to him.
