Summary
It's been years since the Battle of Hogwarts was lost to Voldemort and his Death Eaters and The Order is on life support. Working from the shadows and employing guerrilla warfare tactics, the outlook is grim as Voldemort continues to expand his domain, bringing more of Europe under Death Eater control.
Draco Malfoy has risen through the ranks to become Voldemort's trusted General while secretly studying increasingly darker and experimental magic. Ambivalent to the orders he carries out of for the Dark Lord, Draco cares little about anyone or anything beyond his inner circle.
Hermione Granger has become hopeless but is one of the Order's most valuable assets with her unique ability to blend into the shadows.
Faking Hermione's death and trapping her, Draco uses his own experimental spellwork to turn her into his panther familiar. Now bound to him, Hermione is trapped - she can't run, she can't hurt him, and he will command her to do his bidding.
What will become of a witch whose free will is caged, and a wizard who has long surpassed his master?
