Summary
Avidius lifted his hand to his mouth and cleared his throat. Only then did the most beautiful golden eyes in the world turn his way to look at him. His heart fluttered in his chest. To be so blessed as to have such a gaze linger upon him for even a moment, truly this was a beautiful day.
A smile spread across the shopkeeper’s face. He immediately chirped, “Good afternoon! Is there something I can help you with on this lovely day?”
“Erm, yes…” Avidius’ gaze fell to the nametag the man wore. “…Rover!” He looked back into the other man’s eyes and saw them shine as his smile widened. Ugh. His heart. He might not survive this interaction.
Avidius glanced off to the side and ignored how warm his cheeks felt as he admitted, “You see, there’s this guy I’m interested in. I really like him and I want to get him a special little something to show that.” He glanced at the beautiful display of bouquets in the window then finally looked back at the shopkeeper. “Do you have any flower recommendations for such an occasion?”

Summary
Rover was silent but his heart ached for the guy. Avidius was a broken shell of a man whose entire sense of self had been shattered in an instant. A man lost and drowning, likely never to find his way back to any normalcy again. For Rover, it was hard to figure out what to say in a moment like this. The wrong thing could be catastrophic. Unfortunately, so could silence.
Avidius took the lack of response at face value. He rolled his eyes and shook his head then grumbled, “I don’t know why I’m bothering to talk to the likes of you. You don’t understand. You couldn’t possibly understand!”
“Try me.”

Jin turned to leave the room. His wrist was caught once again. When he turned around to look at his boyfriend curiously, Jin was kissed. This one was much more pleasant than the last. Minty fresh and passionate, he instinctively leaned into it.
Even though they’d been dating for what felt like forever now, kissing Shiki still made his head spin a little. The guy was all fire and it was like he was attempting to burn him from the inside out with those flames. Intense didn’t begin to cover it. The pain in the ass was a drug he just couldn’t quit. Jin was hopelessly addicted.
The two of them parted and Shiki smiled in that adorable way of his that made his face scrunch. Jin’s heart skipped a beat. He had no right to be so stinking cute when he was also the most irritating person on the planet. Jin wanted to kiss him again. Unfortunately, his annoying boyfriend moved before he could lean back in.
“Oh, yeah! Before I forget!” Shiki put both hands on either side of Jin’s face and squished. He continued to smile like an idiot as he chirped, “Happy Birthday, dude!”

The blond crossed his arms and said, “It’s nice to see you again, Rover. To what do I owe the pleasure?”
“I was just in the area,” Rover hummed in response. That and he’d asked around then been told this was likely where he’d find the blond. But that was his own little secret. He tilted his head then asked, “Did I interrupt?”
“Hm? Oh, not at all.” Avidius replied. He lifted his left hand and adjusted the golden bracer slightly with his right. “I was just getting my training in.”
“Against a dummy that can’t fight back?” Rover asked with a little shake of his head. He blinked. “That’s pretty boring.”
Avidius shrugged and sighed, “Yes, well, unfortunately it’s the only thing around.”
“I’m around.” Rover replied without missing a beat. He held up his right arm and flexed it as he added, “And I’m pretty tough.”

“Let’s go.” Jin interrupted his thoughts.
Shiki didn’t even have a chance to turn and look at the guy. He was grabbed by the wrist and dragged out of their room. Wherever it was Jin wanted to go, he sure was serious about it. There was a determined look in his gray eyes as he marched down the hall with his roommate in tow like a piece of luggage.
There was a bit of commotion at the other end of the hallway. Shiki turned to look over his shoulder to find their classmates chatting and laughing loudly. They seemed to be headed somewhere in the opposite direction. He barely had a chance to process that before Jin dragged him around a corner and everyone was out of sight.
“What about the others?” Shiki had to ask.
“I didn’t invite anyone else,” Jin replied.
Weird. But that was just how Jin was. Shiki was used to him and his attempts at being a loner by now. A thought crossed his mind and he had to hold back a snicker. Maybe Jin was embarrassed because he wanted to go shopping for underwear or something even more scandalous. Like nudy mags! Shiki bit back a laugh. That’d be so great. And he’d make sure to tease the guy about it for the rest of forever.

The stranger greeted and Kagiura was immediately drawn into the friendly grey eyes, they even looked slightly blue. His smile was gentle, like that of a senior, and Kagiura forgot how to speak for a long second, which made the situation a little awkward.
"Yes! Hello, yes!" Kagiura hurriedly replied when his voice found him, he strode forward to shorten the distance between the two, "are you one of the boys from the training?" He asked with honesty, because even though the blond looked Kagiura's age he could as well be older than him or one of the people in charge. Heck he could even be the one to interview him. But Kagiura had to admit, if this person was not on the journey to be an idol too, then it would be a waste. The stranger's looks were certainly eye-catching.
"I am, though I have been here for almost a year. My name is Hirano Taiga, and you are?" The other's voice was just as soft as his smile and Kagiura couldn't help feeling more and more in awe.
"My name is Kagiura Akira, I look forward to working with you!" He bowed and finally looking away he realized his heart was pounding. Was he really that nervous after meeting a senior?
