Summary
After being abandoned by Ron and Hermione during their Horcrux hunt, a despondent Harry seeks refuge in the muggle world and stumbles upon a mysterious card shop called Mystic Deck. Drawn to a pack of cards labeled "Sacred Beasts," Harry purchases them and asks Kane, the enigmatic shopkeeper, how to play. Kane introduces Harry to the world of Duel Monsters, even guiding him through his first duel in the shop's backroom. Impressed by Harry's latent potential, Chancellor Sheppard hands him a brochure for Duel Academy, a prestigious school dedicated to mastering the game, and urges him to consider attending. As Harry leaves the shop, torn between his mission against Voldemort and this intriguing new path, he's faced with a life-changing decision.

Summary
One different choice, just one, puts Harry Potter on an entirely new path in life. A path where he gets the help he needs and deserves with adults that actually do their jobs and with a Magical Guardian that is willing and able to truly keep him safe in all his years at Hogwarts and beyond.
Meet a Harry Potter that might be many shades darker than in the canon books, but who also is so much happier and safer. There will be dark times, distress and angst, but in the end, happiness will prevail. This is a feel good, or at least feel content, story and the reader should never doubt that Harry and his friends will come out on top, no matter what difficulties they might face. After all, they have a lot of competent and highly protective adults on their side.
