"Are you asking for my worship, Kuroro?"
Left hand cutting through the air between them, Kuroro grabs Kurapika's jaw and Kurapika wraps his chain-armed hand around his neck. Both their grips unmoving, a stable weight at where they lay; not quite gripping, not quite letting go: just holding on.
"I'm asking you to show me your longing. I can do what your god cannot." The trademark expression of reticence on Kuroro's face melts away to reveal something sharper, harder around the edges. "I'll prove to be better than your god. Will that earn me your devotion, Kurapika?"
