Summary
The two of them stand shoulder to shoulder in silence, eyes fixed on Chase.
“Black male, thirty-seven years old,” House says quietly. “History of control freak behavior, annoying tendency to be a wet blanket. Presents with selective mutism and cowardice. DDX, go.”

Summary
Chase got stabbed, just not the way it was in canon. Foreman inevitably watched it go down and stayed by Chase's side the whole time—from surgery to stupid bets in recovery. Surely there was no unresolved, repressed, or any feelings, for that matter.

Summary
He makes a questioning noise, silently asking a question and House answers, “Just making sure you’re breathing, Wombat.”
House stays seated, rolling his cane between his palms. He tries to think of a response, but nothing comes. Eventually, House stands, heavily leaning on the cane, but before he moves away a hand reaches down and ruffles his long shaggy hair. Then not even a moment later a second blanket drops on top of him from Wilson. He blinks a few times and then he lets sleep claim him.
Or Five Times that House and Chase have a father-son moment and One time Chase calls House his dad

Summary
Then suddenly, it all clicked.
"Oh!" Peter said, his hands falling to the table with a loud clatter. Dad opened his mouth to reprimand him, but before he could, Peter cut in, "Dad, are you gay?"
The ensuing silence was beyond deafening. Peter might have been convinced it lasted forever, if it weren't for the clock in the corner letting him know otherwise. Dad and Hank exchanged looks of varying degrees of confusion, passing through entire conversations with just their eyebrows, looking between each other Peter and gaping like goldfish as they tried to formulate some sort of answer.
"N—" Dad started. He looked over to Hank with wide eyes, who in turn just shrugged with a confused frown on his face. "Uh... no?"
He sounded like the world's worst liar.
Peter narrowed his eyes.
"Oh. Alright," he said, silently adding, If you say so.
OR: five times Peter knew something was going on between his dad and his new roommate, and one time everyone else knew it, too.
