Summary
Life is hard when you’re a street kid. It’s even harder when you’re also deaf. Though, Jason guesses that he’s not technically a street kid anymore, not since he’s made that mistake of jacking some billionaire’s tires and got himself kidnapped.
The man... Bruce, doesn’t seem to want to hurt him, though. He feeds Jason and goes out of his way to communicate with him. He even offered to teach Jason sign language.
There’s a price to pay, he’s sure of it, but Bruce remains as kind and nice as always.
Maybe he really is safe?

Summary
Jason Todd wasn’t meant to be a father. Not to anyone.
But then he found a baby left in the dirt behind a Gotham dumpster, cold and crying, something broke open in him — screw Bruce and the Joker. Jason is going to live and get the hell out of Gotham.
A small town. A college degree or PHD. Just books, lectures, and a child who became his world. However, some things — no matter how far you run — don’t stay buried.
