Summary
At first glance Draco Malfoy seems to hate Harry potter, but it's the opposite, he and his magic have been drawn to him since the moment they met at madam Malkins.
Draco was told of a prophesy, where the chosen one of the dark side and the boy who was to bring peace to the wizarding world would balance & would unite and bring those of false light to an end.
When Harry refused his hand in first year, essentially refusing their destiny, draco felt rejected.
Now that he see's how much Harry suffers through the years of betrayal, isolation, ridicule, the triwizard tournament was the last straw before he decided to take matters into his own hands. His snakes not far behind him as they've all been told of the prophecy.
It was time to take the lion into the snake's den.
