Next to you, walking on the treadmill in long, lazy strides was the object of your fixation, Dr. Octavius, sporting an ESU t-shirt and basketball shorts (of all things). You stared up at him, doe eyed, and he responded with a shiteating grin peaking through his salt and pepper beard as he gazed down at you, clearly enjoying your surprise.
“Hey Doc,” you tried to sound cool but it came out as a wheeze as you attempted to catch your breath. “What—what are you doing down here?”
