Summary
Dean Winchester fixes things. Keeps his head down. Follows orders, mostly. Doesn’t ask questions. He can’t afford to—not with a father watching his every move, a brother he’s desperate to protect, and a past sealed behind a NDA.
So when a repair job sends him to a brothel on the edge of town, he tells himself it’s just work. Routine. Temporary.
But the android he’s sent to fix doesn’t behave like the others. It looks at him too long. Hesitates before it speaks. And when it touches him, Dean forgets—for a moment—that machines aren’t supposed to feel.
He knows better than to get involved. He does it anyway.
Now he’s tangled in something bigger. Secrets, loyalties, and everything Dean thought he understood about free will and humanity.
He’ll have to decide if being human is about what you’re made of—or the choices you make.

Summary
A week after Jack left, he brought Castiel back from the Empty — whole, alive, and standing in front of Dean like nothing had changed, though everything had. Dean’s grateful. Of course he is. But now that Cas is here, really here, Dean is left face-to-face with everything unsaid between them. He knows what Cas confessed before dying, and worse — he knows damn well what he feels in return. But saying it out loud? That’s another story entirely, because there's something broken inside of him.
Dean asks Cas for something no one’s ever asked of him before: to go back in time, to the moment something broke, and stop it from happening. Stop the moment that taught Dean to be afraid of what he wanted most. Stop the moment Dean got broken.

“Got it,” Dean says, nodding, because he can work with this. “Yeah. Sure. So give me some truths. Some stupid little ones.”
Cas narrows his eyes. “Such as?”
“Like, I dunno, what’s your favorite color?”
Cas’s face somehow goes stonier. “Green,” he ekes out.
Dean clears his throat. Blinks a few times. “Oh.”
