Summary
Positioning the kneeling cushion before his prayer altar, Nakyum knelt, leaning forward across the cold hard surface, waiting for the clock hands to reach north. A soft chime rang out at midnight and Nakyum tried to still his heart as it thudded, as his insides twisted with apprehension.
A mist filled the room, not thick or grey but that of an autumn evening across a field. It flowed softly, a river of mystic gold. And then the dark presence arrived with it. The demon chuckled, taunting from the very start.

Summary
Before Seungho’s visits became physical, the human would come home from work and watch violent porn alone, the remains of his cold microwave meal an unwilling participant left out on the coffee table. Now, the room and routine had changed. Charms and talismans hung from hooks, and protective stones and herbs were left lying around. It made Seungho grin that the human thought those measures would help.
Seungho wasn’t anything he could protect himself from.
