Summary
Suho's days in the hospital were all the same. His nights, however, were his favorite. Sieun would come over right after sunset. The warmth of the sun substituted by the cold facade and gentle warmth of the boy, like sunshine on a snowy day.
It felt weird, having that kid who would stare daggers at him every time he slung an arm around him be so silent about his touches now.Or: Suho keeps testing the waters and Sieun keeps letting him.

"İyi misin?"
Sieun ağzını araladı ama ses çıkmadı, boğazında koca bir düğüm vardı. "Mhm," gırtlağından onaylayan bir ses çıktı.
Suho'nun bakışlarının arkasında bekleyen arkadaşlarına kaydığını gördü. Üçü de sessizce onları izliyordu. Havanın ağırlaştığının farkında, anın büyüsünü bozmamak için titizlikle nefeslerini bile kontrol eder bir şekilde, orada öylece bekliyorlardı.
"Şu arkandakiler kim?"
"Arkadaşlarım," dedi Sieun, sesi kısık ve hırıltılı çıkmıştı. Her an ağlayabilirmiş gibi hissediyordu. Acaba Suho göz yaşlarının biriktiğini aralarındaki mesafeden görebilir miydi?
"Buna sevindim," dedi Suho, yüzüne bir tebessüm oturmuştu. Sieun onun rahatlamış gözüktüğünü hissetti.
Nefesi kesilmişti, etrafındaki havanın ağırlığı ciğerlerine baskı yapıyordu. Kesik kesik nefesler verdi. Şimdi o da gülümsüyordu.
Sonunda, diye düşündü.
(Suho uyandıktan sonra ne oldu?)

"I’m still waiting for my hug.”
The sudden sound jolted Sieun from his thoughts with a start. As Suho’s words finally registered, he felt his breath lodge in his throat—a sharp sound of disbelief and wonder bubbling its way up his chest—dying in his throat before it left his lips. His eyes flicked up, wide and almost afraid to believe what he’d just heard.
A… hug?
Slowly—ever so slowly—Sieun’s feet began to move. One step, then another. As if drawn forward by some invisible thread tied between their chests. As if Suho’s quiet patience was enough to keep the earth steady beneath him—keep him from falling to the ground before he even reached him.
Aka, how I wanted the reunion scene to go in the drama, complete with a sprinkle of inside jokes and memories from the previous season cause I like hurting myself :')

Sieun’s breath caught in his throat. He looked away, blinking once, then again, as heat spread across his cheeks and down the back of his neck. His voice, when it came, was barely more than a breath.
“Yah…” he mumbled, a protest in name only.
But Suho just chuckled, letting his hands fall. His eyes stayed on Sieun’s face, glittering with a kind of lazy happiness.
And that was the moment the next line slipped out of his mouth—“Say baby, you shall kiss me tonight…”
It was soft. Almost absentminded.And the second they passed his lips—
Sieun’s steps faltered.Aka, Suho and Sieun slow-dance in the hospital and somewhere between clumsy steps and stolen glances, their hearts stumble as well.
